Muizenberg Beach Nurdle Cleanup with with vida e caffè and The Beach Co-Op

Vida e caffè are hosting another beach cleanup with The Beach Co-Op and this time they’ll be visiting Muizenberg Beach to help with the Nurdle Spill.

They are keen to adhere to the Covid-19 protocols, please help by following these simple rules:
1. NB: Download the Marine Debris Tracker App on Android or IOS and read this: https://www.thebeachcoop.org/dirty-dozen-cleanup-app/ BEFORE you arrive at the cleanup.
2. Wear a mask at all times & maintain the recommended social distance
3. Bring hand sanitizer and gloves (gardening/kitchen gloves)
4. Bring a bag to collect waste; they will have a few on offer.

8. Pick up all litter and be sure to tell the person logging the data what you have collected
9. Decant your litter from your bag into our yellow bags
10. Sanitize your hands and your phone.

“vida e mundo” means “life & the world” and they’re on a journey to ensure a sustainable world for everyone. Their hope is to encourage everyone to reduce consumption of single-use plastic (which often lands up in our oceans and beaches) and make small steps to improvement. Let’s be better together!
