CTBC Women’s Day Hout Bay Beach Cleanup | Yoga | Swim | Ice Bath

Join Cape Town beach Cleanup (CTBC) on Tuesday the 9th of August (oh yeah its a public holiday) on Hout Bay Beach for some really great activities.
They will start the morning off with a beach cleanup from 9am till 10:30am
Meeting spot will be at Mariners Wharf…on the beach.
Then bring your bestie, a yoga mat and some good vibes as they do some yoga on the beach at 10:30.
After that – they will be hosting a swim with some easy distances for beginners, kids and some longer distances for those that want to go a bit longer.
Distances are 250m, 500m, 750 & 1500m
They will have a 250m loop which will run along the shore line which you can swim once, twice or three times.
Otherwise a 750m loop which you can do once or twice.
12pm start for the long swim and then they will stagger into the shorter events – so be prepared to hang around and enjoy the view.
Costs for the swim:

They will have water safety crew on the water to look after you.
Then they will also have an Ice Bath for you to try out for a few minutes.
